Jedda Davis has been inspired to deepen her practice and share her love of yoga with others upon recognising the transformational qualities yoga brings to her own life. She is passionate about the practice of yoga for its capacity to relieve stress, soften tension, and soothe the nervous system.
Jedda creatively integrates elements of Vinyasa into her classes, blending the fluidity of movement with breath. Gently flowing sequences, linked with the awareness of breath, allow for the practice to become a meditation in motion, where each step brings the student closer to their centre. Her classes present a balanced fusion of momentum and pause, motion and contemplative space.
Jedda completed her Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching with the Australian Yoga Academy in Melbourne, under the guidance of Dominique Santana Salerno. She comes to Centre for Mind Body Wellness with a wealth of experience in Melbourne’s many yoga studios, tailoring classes for all ages, body types, and levels of experience. Jedda delights in every class that she is privileged to teach; and considers herself a lifelong student of yoga.
