Jane is an experienced Clinical Psychologist and Board-approved Supervisor with a warm, compassionate and integrative therapeutic approach. She offers therapy for adults, children, youth, parents and families. Jane is available for in-person, telehealth and out-of-office appointments, as well as school meetings and observations.
Jane has experience with supporting people experiencing a wide range of challenges, including:

  • anxiety (including separation anxiety and social anxiety)
  • depression
  • stress and adjustment
  • grief and loss
  • trauma (including complex trauma and PTSD)
  • attachment and parenting
  • behaviour and emotion regulation
  • addiction problems
  • social and relationship problems

Training:
Jane has a Master’s of Clinical Psychology and is endorsed by AHPRA as a Clinical Psychologist and a Board-approved Supervisor. Jane also has a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Fine Art / Sculpture, which contributes to her creative process.
Jane draws on her training and experience in:

  • Mindful and Compassion focused therapies
  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
  • Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Expressive, Play and Attachment-Based Family and Behavioural interventions
  • Trauma informed interventions

Experience:
Jane has worked for NSW Health in inpatient and community settings for over ten years. She has worked as Child and Family Specialist on the Whole Family Team, and as Youth and Family clinician. In her private practice, Jane supports adults, children, youth, parents and families. She has experience facilitating groups in DBT and in Mindful Self Compassion. She also supports other psychologists as a Board-approved supervisor. Jane is passionate about supporting people to create joyful, nurturing, kind and compassionate relationships with themselves and others. She is currently practising and encouraging others to go slowly, kindly and gently.

Fee:
Jane charges $210 for a 45-60 minute session in person, via telehealth or telephone.
Out-of-office sessions include a fee for travel.
Jane does not bulk bill, however, a fee reduction is available with a healthcare card.
Payment of the full fee is required at the time of the consultation.

Medicare:
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP then you are able to claim a rebate of $136.35 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
This Medicare rebate is available for in-person, telehealth, telephone and some out-of-office sessions.
The Medicare rebate for out-of-office appointments is $159.55.

Private health insurance:
Rebates may be available if you have private health insurance.
Please contact your insurer directly regarding your rebates for clinical psychology sessions.

Cancellation policy:
There is no fee for cancellations with at least 24 hours notice.
For cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment, there is a $50 cancellation fee.
For cancellations on the same day of the appointment, the full appointment fee will be payable.
