Jocelyn is an Integrative and Trauma-Informed Counsellor, Woman, Mother of three and local to the Northern Rivers for over ten years.

Jocelyn possesses a vibrancy and warmth that immediately communicates a strong message of safety. She is passionate about facilitating a space where individuals can freely express themselves, face their past, and move towards a meaningful future.

Jocelyn is a skilled practitioner with much experience in working with trauma, loss, and mental health. She has a background in Psychology and post graduate studies in Counselling and Psychotherapy and is currently studying Emotionally Focussed Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) as she expands her practice to include couples and families.

Jocelyn adopts a client led and integrative approach. She understands that we are all unique and at different stages in our healing journey where there is no ‘one size’ that fits all. Her work thus melds aspects of Neuroscience, Attachment Theory, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, with Experiential, Creative and Somatic processes.

Jocelyn’s aim is to support you to grow beyond the limits imposed by your history, disability and/or diagnosis. She believes that no matter what we have endured, there is a self that remains intact and unbroken. To work with Jocelyn is to get in touch with a sense of self again and to move through and forward, from a place of self leadership and self empowerment.

A long-term psychotherapy model is favoured where with time, care, consistency and a strong therapeutic alliance, great change can take form.
