Gestalt Psychotherapist & WomanSpeak Circle Leader

Suzy offers Deep Tissue Massage which aims to nurture and deepen a client’s connection to their body and health. Suzy brings a warmth of presence to her touch and believes in the importance of regular massage as an avenue to greater pleasure, ease and access to our own somatic intelligence. Her massage is deep without being painful and she is available to work with clients in tailoring each massage experience to their specific needs.
Originally trained in Body Transformation and Deep Tissue Body Work, Suzy has also studied Reflexology & Shiatsu and brings a wealth of experience from her 20 years practicing as a massage therapist.

Cost: $80 one hour, $120 hour and a half.

Suzy is a Licenced WomenSpeak Circle leader and is excited to be offering short and long term courses in Women’s Public Speaking both at the centre and online.

Designed in the United States by KC Baker, WomanSpeak offers the opportunity to unleash the brilliance of women’s voices and to teach leadership in a uniquely feminine way.

Suzy is an advocate for the unflinching and sometimes untapped wisdom of women and she is honoured to be able to hold space and be a representative of this work.

Suzy is currently completing her Masters in Gestalt Therapy. She has completed her Level 2 Leadership Training locally with the Rites of Passage Institute, is a qualified Holographic Kinetics practitioner and has spent the past 30 years sitting in circles with women exploring the inner lineage of ancient feminine wisdom and our innate connection to the earth. Suzy is a poet and a mother of three sons.

Gestalt Therapy

Suzy is a Masters-trained Gestalt Psychotherapist who resonates deeply with the concept of psychotherapy as soul healing. Gestalt Therapy offers a place where individuals can honestly bring themselves to each moment, developing their own insight and healing within the support of a therapeutic relationship. With a presence of warmth and inclusion, Suzy creates a safe holding for her clients to enquire into themselves and their life circumstances.

Suzy has lived through her own life challenges and initiations. She offers a depth of resource, resilience, and humility. She is an advocate for embracing diversity within the human experience. Through Gestalt methodology, she supports individuals to inhabit themselves more fully by building personal awareness and acting as an anchor where things may feel a bit rocky. There is no pressure to fix anything or even to have a final destination. She accompanies her clients on their personal journey to feeling better resourced in their lives and relationships. Suzy practices anti-oppressive therapy in which people can have deeper conversations with themselves, whilst being witnessed, and skillfully supported, in shifting their perspective on life in order to find a greater connection to the life that is unique to them.

Suzy works with individuals, couples, and teenagers. In her major Masters paper, she explored Beyond a binary view of gender in psychotherapy: Working alongside trans and gender diverse people.

COST: $130 for individuals and $180 for couples per one-hour session
